2020年 広島市立大学大学院 芸術学研究科 博士後期課程 総合造形芸術専攻 修了。

旅の多い暮らしの中で拾うコンテクストを手がかりに再現性のない現在を描く「うきよめぐり」と非日常への希求を祀る「とこしずめ」の２シリーズを展開している。立体作品はとある神社の狛兎をテーマとし、両系譜を横断するアイコンとして位置付ける。いずれにおいても見立て遊びのようなイメージと視覚像が重なるところを表現とし、作品と対峙した人それぞれがイメージを補完して楽しめる創作を目指している。

I am developing two series: “Ukiyo Meguri,” which depicts an irreproducible present using contexts gathered during my frequent travels as clues, and “Tokoshizume,” which celebrates the longing for the extraordinary. The three-dimensional works are themed around the koma-usagi (guardian rabbits) of a certain shrine and are positioned as icons that bridge both artistic lineages. In both series, the artist expresses the intersection of imagery reminiscent of a game of make-believe and visual representations, aiming to create works that allow each viewer to enjoy them by filling in the gaps with their own imagination.
