1995年、愛媛県松山市出身。
武蔵野美術大学油絵科油絵専攻卒。在学中にアメリカに渡り、ニューヨーク、ロサンゼルス、サンフランシスコ、上海などでアーティストとして活動。国内外にて多数の展覧会に参加。
再現描写的な肖像作品から、抽象の油彩造形、身体表現と領域横断的な制作を行う。
また社会起業家としても活動し、ルーツである愛媛の藩主屋敷を活用したアートスペースなどを拠点に、学際的アプローチによる地域・時代を越えた文化的対話の場を創出している。

蜂の巣から精製された蜜蝋を用い、油絵以前、古代エジプト以来の画法である蜜蝋画に、日本の岩絵具や自然顔料を混合して描き出した絵画面を、再び蜂の巣箱へと戻すことで制作された。
今日の深刻化する環境の危機、そして植物の受粉を担う昆虫たちの減少、いわゆるポリネーション危機を想うとき、私たちがこの星で行う表現や境界づくりには、人間だけの視点を超えるものが必要だ。
特にアートが持つ自律的な表現力と固有のメッセージ性こそ、その視点を引き入れる力を持つのではないか。人間にとっても昆虫にとっても光であり、私にとっても蜜蜂たちにとっても庭である、そんな場所として作品を立ち上げる。

蜂の巣から精製された蜜蝋を用い、油絵以前、古代エジプト以来の画法である蜜蝋画に、日本の岩絵具や自然顔料を混合して描き出した絵画面を、再び蜂の巣箱へと戻すことで制作された。その絵画は蜜蜂たちの手に委ねられ、彼らによる彫刻やドローイング、再建築とも言える営みを経て、レリーフ的な絵画作品として生まれ変わる。

Born in 1995 in Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture.
Graduated from the Department of Oil Painting, College of Art and Design, Musashino Art University.
While still a student, she moved to the United States, where she worked as an artist in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Shanghai, and has participated in numerous exhibitions both in Japan and abroad.
Her practice spans from representational portraiture to abstract oil painting and performative, cross-disciplinary expressions.
In addition to her artistic career, she is also active as a social entrepreneur. Drawing on her roots in Ehime, she operates art spaces in former feudal residences, creating platforms for cultural dialogue that transcend regions and eras through interdisciplinary approaches.

his work is created by returning an encaustic painting—made with beeswax refined from honeycombs and mixed with Japanese mineral pigments and natural pigments, a technique predating oil painting and tracing back to Ancient Egypt—into a beehive.
As we confront the escalating environmental crisis and the decline of insects responsible for pollination—the so-called pollination crisis—it becomes clear that the ways we create expressions and boundaries on this planet must extend beyond a purely human-centered perspective. I believe that art, with its autonomous expressive power and inherent message, has the capacity to invite such perspectives.
This work is conceived as a place that is light for both humans and insects, and as a garden shared by myself and the bees.

This work is created using beeswax refined from honeycombs. An encaustic painting—an ancient technique dating back to pre–oil painting practices and Ancient Egypt—is produced by mixing Japanese mineral pigments and natural pigments, and then returned to a beehive. Entrusted to the bees, the painting undergoes processes that can be described as sculpting, drawing, and reconstruction by their activity, ultimately transforming into a relief-like pictorial work.
