可塑性のある素材を支持体として扱い、身近なモチーフの形態や意味を解体・再構成することで、それらが有機的に連鎖し、複数の時間が積層する絵画を制作しています。
絵画を単なる平面ではなく、「空間と時間を内包する存在」として捉えています。木枠に固定されていないキャンバスは、折り畳む、丸める、重ねるといった可変的な形態を持ち、物理的な時間や空間の影響を受けます。重なりの中で生まれる空気の層や、布のほつれも作品の一部として機能しています。
窓のある室内に家具やカーテン、ソファ、ランプなどを描き、そこには、実際に見た風景と想像の中の景色が混ざり合い、多層的で立体的な風景が立ち現れます。
また、絵画の内側と外側に流れる時間に関心を持ち、「複数の時間が同時に立ち現れる絵画」を探求しています。

By treating malleable materials as a support and deconstructing and reconstructing the forms and meanings of familiar motifs, I create paintings in which these elements form an organic chain, with multiple layers of time superimposed.
I view a painting not merely as a flat surface, but as an ‘entity that encompasses space and time’. A canvas that is not fixed to a wooden frame takes on variable forms—such as folding, rolling, or stacking—and is influenced by physical time and space. The layers of air created by these overlaps, as well as the fabric’s fraying, function as integral parts of the work.
I depict objects such as furniture, curtains, sofas, and lamps situated within a room with a window. In these compositions, real-world views and imagined scenes intermingle, producing a pictorial space with multiple layers and a sense of three-dimensional depth.
I am interested in how time flows both inside and outside the painting. Through my work, I explore ways to represent situations in which different moments or durations appear to exist simultaneously within a single pictorial space.
