現代人の行動に隠された欲望をテーマに、伝統的な絵画表現と現代的な要素を組み合わせた写真作品を制作している。主な表現手法として、撮影前に空間や人物、光、物語を設計するステージド・フォトグラフィ（Staged Photography）を用い、写真を単なる現実の記録ではなく、複数の意味が交差する舞台として構築している。
現代社会では、人々の行動や価値観は資本主義やメディア、SNSなどの影響を受けながら形成されている。一見すると個人の自由な選択や欲望の表れに見える行為も、その背後には社会的な規範や消費構造、文化的な記号が深く関わっていると私は考えている。私の関心は、そのような目には見えない欲望の構造を可視化することにある。
作品では、宗教絵画や古典絵画、神話などに見られる象徴性や構図を参照しながら、現代の日用品や消費財、インターネット文化に由来するモチーフを組み合わせることで、時間や文化の異なる要素を一つの画面に共存させる。過去から受け継がれてきた視覚言語を用いて現代社会を見つめ直すことで、私たちが無意識に受け入れている価値観や欲望のあり方を問い直したいと考えている。
写真というメディアは現実を写すものとして認識される一方で、演出によって虚構を現実のように提示することも可能である。この特性を活かし、鑑賞者が「見えているもの」と「意味づけられているもの」の間を往復する体験を生み出すことを目指している。私の作品は明確な答えを提示するものではなく、現代人の欲望や信仰、消費、身体といったテーマについて、鑑賞者それぞれが自身の経験を重ねながら再考するための場となることを目指している。

My artistic practice explores the hidden desires that underlie contemporary human behavior, combining the visual language of traditional painting with contemporary elements through the medium of photography. My primary approach is staged photography, in which every aspect of the image—including the setting, figures, lighting, and narrative—is carefully constructed before the shutter is released. Rather than functioning as a simple record of reality, photography becomes a stage where multiple layers of meaning can unfold.

In contemporary society, human behavior and systems of value are continuously shaped by capitalism, mass media, and social networks. Choices and desires that appear to arise from individual freedom are often deeply influenced by social norms, consumer culture, and cultural symbols. My work investigates these invisible structures of desire and seeks to make them perceptible through visual representation.

Drawing inspiration from religious paintings, classical art, and mythology, I incorporate their symbolic imagery and compositional strategies into my work while introducing contemporary everyday objects, consumer goods, and motifs derived from internet culture. By bringing together visual languages from different historical periods and cultural contexts within a single image, I aim to reexamine contemporary society through the lens of tradition and question the values and mechanisms of desire that have become so deeply embedded in everyday life that they often go unnoticed.

Photography is commonly understood as a medium for recording reality, yet it also possesses the capacity to construct fictional worlds that appear convincingly real. I employ this dual nature of the medium to create images that invite viewers to move between what is visible and the meanings that lie beneath the surface. Rather than offering definitive answers, my work seeks to open a space for reflection, encouraging viewers to reconsider themes such as desire, faith, consumption, and the body through the lens of their own experiences.
