The subject of the painting is "Utopia." Utopia is an illusion that exists within oneself as an unrealistic fantasy. Gazing at this unrealistic utopia, imagining the details of dreams and hopes within it, one searches for what they consider to be the "ideal." However, in the real world, this ideal cannot exist, and disappointment and sadness prevails, leading to a stark disconnect between the real and the ideal. Despite understanding this, the pursuit of utopia persists. Why is that? Why do we want to move towards the brighter side? These are the questions I desire to answer.
