“境界線を組み合わせる”をコンセプトに境界線がなくなっていきながらも複雑に組み変わる現代に、どのように新しい思想やイメージをつくって生きていくのかを考えている。
デジタルとアナログ、具象と抽象、大衆と個性、東洋と西洋、偶発と計画、
グラフィックデザインと現代アート、アニメ・漫画と実写映画など複数の相反する概念に境界線を引き、ミニマルに組み合わせている。
モチーフの女性は現代を象徴するPOPアイコンであり、俯瞰して見た無機質な人物であり、
ベクターデータで描いたキッチュな架空のキャラクターである。
アイデアが飽和している現代にどう境界線を引くかで、
新しい価値観の持った個性が生まれるのではないかと考え作品を作り続けている。

With the concept of “combining boundaries
In today’s world where boundaries are disappearing and being intricately recombined, I am thinking about how to create new ideas and images to live,
I am thinking about how to create new ideas and images to live in this age of complex combinations of boundaries that are disappearing.
Digital and analog, figurative and abstract, popular and individual, East and West, contingent and planned,
graphic design and contemporary art, animation/manga and live-action film, etc.
The artist draws boundaries between multiple conflicting concepts and combines them in a minimalist manner.
The woman in the motif is a POP icon symbolizing the modern age, an inorganic figure seen from an overhead view,
She is a kitschy fictional character drawn with vector data.
It is how to draw a boundary in today’s world that is saturated with ideas,
I continue to create my works with the idea that a new sense of individuality with new values can be born by drawing a boundary in today’s idea-saturated world.
