「日常をリフレームする」というテーマをもとに、ブルーシート・輪ゴム・バラス石・不織布・水糸などの工業製品を作品の素材に用いている。日常にありふれたそれらの素材を作品に落とし込む過程を通じて、物事の価値について見つめ直すきっかけをつくりたい。また、規則的な行為を膨大に繰り返すことから見えてくるものについても興味を持っている。ごく単純な、くくる・織るといった染織技法を一つの対象に執拗に重ねていき、その行為に付随する身体感覚との連動性から生じる自身の物作りに対する衝動や執着を表現することも試みている。

Based on the theme of “”reframing the every day,”” she uses industrial products such as blue sheets, rubber bands, ballast stones, non-woven fabrics, and water thread as materials for her works. Through the process of incorporating these commonplace everyday materials into her works, she hopes to create an opportunity to reconsider the value of things. I am also interested in what can be seen through the vast repetition of regular acts. By persistently layering very simple dyeing and weaving techniques, such as wrapping and weaving, on a single object, she attempts to express her own impulse and obsession with making things, which arise from the linkage with the physical sensations associated with these actions.
