画家。1984年長崎県生まれ。2011年武蔵野美術大学大学院美術専攻油絵コース修了。
雑多なアプローチから絵画を制作している。
近作としては、独特の質感をもつ塗装を施した極小の欠片を絵画作品とし、空間へと配置した作品を制作している。また同名義にて、音響作品の制作およびライブパフォーマンスも行う。

画家としての松尾は、2018年より独特の質感をもつ塗装を施した極小の欠片を絵画作品として、わずか数センチのそれらを空間へと配置した作品を制作しています。
極小の絵画は、空間へと配置されることで、それぞれの小さな画面が視線・眼球の動きに作用します。
塵のように壁面に張り付いたものが視線を変化させたり、止めて凝視してしまう。
そのような感覚に着目し、松尾は雑多な日常の中でハッとフェティッシュさ・物質性を感じてしまう感覚的な異和の瞬間を手掛かりに制作を行っています。

As a painter, Matsuo has been creating paintings since 2018 using extremely small painted pieces that have a unique texture, and arranges them, just a few centimeters in size, into space.
By placing the miniature paintings in space, each small screen affects the movement of sight and eyeballs. Something that sticks to the wall like dust changes your line of sight, or makes you stop and stare. Focusing on such sensations, Matsuo creates works based on moments of sensual strangeness where one suddenly feels fetish and materiality in the clutter of everyday life.
