京都造形芸術大学アートプロデュース学科卒
2009年頃からインターネット上で作品の発表を始め、ボーカロイド楽曲等のイラストレーションを手掛ける。
2014年から展示活動を開始。国内外にて、個展・グループ展・アートフェア等に出展。

「いつかあったような日常」をベースに、幼い頃に親しんだ少女漫画のような大きな瞳の少女や、ファンシー雑貨のような色彩を用いて表現しています。また、絵自体が子どものおもちゃやノートに描いたお絵かきのようであることを大事にしています。いつか汚れたり壊れてしまいそうなものに美を感じます。

思春期のころから、現実よりもインターネットでの人との繋がりが深かった自分にとって、SNSは切り離せない存在です。楽しいこともあれば、見知らぬ人々の喧嘩や暴言が目の前に流れ着いて、過剰に心を乱してきます。そのような日常生活で生じる心のゆらぎを捉え、善悪・明暗などで分けることのできない複雑な現代社会や人間関係を描こうとしています。

なぜそういったものに心が惹かれるのかと考えると、自身がインターネットに出会う前、現実を一所懸命に生きていた時に身近にあったものが、SNSや日常生活で浮遊しつづける自分の心を留めてくれるような気がするからかもしれません。

Graduated from Kyoto University of Art and Design, Department of Art Production
Began publishing work online around 2009, creating illustrations for Vocaloid songs and other projects.
Commenced exhibition activities in 2014. Has exhibited in solo shows, group exhibitions, and art fairs both domestically and internationally.

Based on “a sense of everyday life I once knew,” I express my work using large-eyed girls reminiscent of the shōjo manga I loved as a child and colors reminiscent of fancy goods. I also place importance on the drawings themselves resembling children’s toys or doodles in notebooks. I find beauty in things that seem like they might get dirty or broken someday.

Since adolescence, when my connections with people online felt deeper than those in reality, SNS has become inseparable from me. While it brings joy, arguments and abusive language from strangers wash up before my eyes, excessively unsettling my mind. I aim to capture these fluctuations of the heart arising in daily life, depicting the complex modern society and human relationships that cannot be neatly divided into good and evil, light and dark.

When I ponder why my heart is drawn to such things, it might be because they remind me of what was close to me before I encountered the internet—when I was striving to live in reality—and they seem to anchor my mind, which otherwise drifts endlessly through social media and daily life.
