油絵具や漆喰、デジタルプリント等により曖昧さと境界をテーマに作品を制作する。油彩では厚塗りのテクスチャーで境界が不明瞭で曖昧な対象を描く。 絵の具を塗り重ねながら探す過程が、厚塗りのテクスチャとして表面に現れている。筆跡や色彩を目で追いながら認識される対象は、その時、その人によりずれが生じ、ゆらいでいる。

I create work that explores ambiguity and the idea of boundaries, using materials such as oil paint, plaster, and digital prints. In my oil paintings, I use thick layers of paint to depict subjects whose edges are blurred and uncertain, making their boundaries difficult to define. The process of building up and searching through layers of paint remains visible on the surface as a dense, textured impasto.

As viewers follow the brushstrokes and colors with their eyes, what they perceive begins to shift—varying from person to person and from moment to moment—so that the image itself feels unstable and in constant flux.
