私は、“部分が全体を作りだす”ということに関心があります。
画面上で、絵具の重なりによって連鎖反応のように繰り返される出来事が、偶然性を孕みながら、やがて全体へと行き届く。ある出来事の連なりがひとつの形を生成していくように、絵画空間の中にも、偶然と選択のあいだに立ち現れる構造があるように思います。
画面上で起こる痕跡や現象を観察しながら、物事のあいだにある関係性を探るようにして絵を描いています。

I am interested in the idea that “the parts create the whole.”
On the canvas, events repeated like chain reactions through the layering of paint, while embracing chance, eventually permeate the entire surface. Just as a sequence of events generates a single form, I believe a structure emerges within the pictorial space, standing between chance and choice.
I paint by observing the traces and phenomena occurring on the canvas, as if probing the relationships between things.
