1990年日本・大阪府生まれ。現在は東京を拠点に活動。主にアクリルを用いた絵画を制作。一見、稚拙でポップな描写だが、前田が幼少期に「死」への強烈なトラウマを負ったことから、どの作品にも生や死、生きていく上での矛盾や葛藤が垣間見える。人が直視できない問題も、コミカルな表現を通じて、受け止め昇華すべく表現を続けている。

Born in 1990 in Osaka, Japan. Currently based in Tokyo.Primarily works with acrylic paint to create paintings. At first glance, the works may appear naïve and pop, but they are deeply rooted in the artist’s childhood trauma related to “death.” Each piece reveals glimpses of life and death, as well as the contradictions and struggles inherent in living. Through comical and playful expressions, Maeda continues to explore and transform themes that are often too painful for people to face directly.
