【物質を通して非物質を表出させる】をテーマに制作しています。これまで膠を起点に、様々なメディウムや顔料を絵画に限らず多角的に探求してきました。この探求を通して、マテリアルの物性は揺るがないという認識が生まれました。それと同時に、これらを組み合わせることで、視覚では捉えられない感覚や記憶、時間といった非物質的な要素を表出できると気づきました。光と影、透明と不透明、硬質と柔質といった対比を重ねることで、物質の奥に潜む非物質的な存在を浮かび上がらせます。それは、物質と非物質の境界線上に現れる、儚くも美しい現象の記録であり、鑑賞者の内面に眠る感覚を呼び覚ますための装置です。

My work explores the theme of “expressing the immaterial through material.” Starting with animalglue as my foundation, I have pursued diverse mediums and pigments in multifaceted ways, extending beyond painting. Through this exploration, I came to recognize that the physical properties of materials remain unshaken. Simultaneously, I realized that combining these elements allows me to express immaterial aspects—sensations, memories, and time—that cannot be captured visually. By layering contrasts—light and shadow, transparency and opacity, hardness and softness—I bring to the surface the immaterial presence lurking within matter. This is a record of the ephemeral yet beautiful phenomena that appear on the boundary between the material and the immaterial, a device designed to awaken the dormant senses within the viewer.
