2018年武蔵野美術大学大学院修了

細さ0.1mmほどの細密な線で何度も薄く塗り重ねた色彩の上にハッチングし、絵の具の層を重ね建物や街にある造形物を浮かび上がらせる技法を用いる。描き方は古典技法であるテンペラ画法のエッセンスも取り入れている。

綿密に空想の積み重なる街を描いているが、これは作家が生まれ育った地元の祭りの山車から着想を得ている。電車よく描かれているのは、この街以外に行ける場所があってほしいという想いからである。

Born in Fukuoka Prefecture, the artist completed their graduate studies at Musashino Art University in 2018.

Using a technique that involves delicate hatching over layers of color built up with multiple thin applications (some as fine as 0.1mm), the artist brings architectural forms and urban structures to life. This process draws from classical techniques, incorporating elements of the tempera painting method.

The artist meticulously constructs imaginary cities, inspired by the festival floats from their hometown, which have deeply influenced their work. The frequent depiction of trains symbolizes the longing for escape—an aspiration to reach places beyond their familiar surroundings.
