1990年京都に生まれる。
22歳の時にNYで藍染に出逢い、帰国後に愛媛県西予市で養蚕から手織り、和裁までを一貫して学ぶ。
その後、江戸時代から続く染め工房 染司よしおかへ入門。 染色の技術を磨き正倉院宝物の復元に携わる。染司よしおか独立後、大正時代に滅びた京藍を復活させる。現在は 天然染色の技法を使いアート製作を行い2023年には妙心寺 桂春院へ京藍壁観図を奉納。
国内外のアーティストや企業とコラボ製作を進めている。

Born in Kyoto in 1990.
At the age of 22, I encountered indigo dyeing in New York. After returning to Japan, I studied sericulture, hand weaving, and traditional Japanese tailoring in Seiyoshi City, Ehime Prefecture. Later on, I joined the dyeing studio called Somenotsukasa Yoshioka, which has been in operation since the Edo period, to further refine my dyeing skills and participate in the restoration of the treasures of the Shōsōin repository. After becoming independent from Somenotsukasa Yoshioka, I revived the lost Kyoto indigo plants(Kyoai) from the Taisho era(1923). Currently, I engage in art creation using natural dyeing techniques and in 2023, I dedicated a Kyoto indigo(Kyoai) dyeing wall mural to Kyojunin at Myoshinji Temple. I am actively collaborating with artists and companies both domestically and internationally.
