1986年アメリカ合衆国シカゴ生。現代アーティスト。仮想と現実、自然と人工など、相対する境界の分解と合成をテーマに制作を行う。主な作品に、浜辺に浜辺を積層させる「Beach on Beach」、霧に向かって私的モノローグを公共放送システムに乗せて発する「To The Fog」、森の中に鑑賞空間を持ち込む「In(to)stallation」など。また、音楽や映画、パフォーミングアーツ、フードプロダクトなど、無領域的に活動する。英国の現代アート賞「New Contemporaries 2021」入選。英国Royal College of Art芸術修士号修了。

Born in Chicago, US, 1986. Tateisi explores the dissolution and synthesis of opposing boundaries, such as virtual and real, natural and artificial. Notable works include Beach on Beach, where Tateisi superimposes layers of beach on a beach, To The Fog, a project where Tateisi transmits personal monologues through a public broadcasting system directed at the fog, and In(to)stallation, where Tateisi introduces an exhibition space into a forest. Additionally, Tateisi works across various domains including music, film, performing arts, and food products. Tateisi was selected for the prestigious “New Contemporaries 2021” contemporary art award in the UK. Tateisi holds a Master of Arts degree from the Royal College of Art, UK.
