16歳の頃、父の勧めで肥後象眼白木光虎先生に師事。
各地の作品展を巡る中で金工技法の奥深さに驚き、京都伝統工芸大学校へ進学。卒業後は東京銀器の鍛金技法を習得し、加賀象嵌を学ぶため金沢へ移る。金沢卯辰山工芸工房での研修を経て京都に戻り、作品制作を続けながら伝統技法の発展に取り組む。
伝統的技法を使いつつも最新技術を融合させた現代の表現を重視し、金属工芸の魅力を伝える作品づくりを目指す。

At the age of 16, the artist began studying under Master Mitsuhira Shiroki, a renowned Higo Zogan (inlay) craftsman, at the suggestion of their father. While visiting various exhibitions, they were captivated by the depth of metalworking techniques, leading them to pursue studies at the Kyoto Traditional Craft University. After graduation, the artist honed their skills in the art of silver smithing in Tokyo before moving to Kanazawa to study Kaga Zogan (inlay) techniques.

Following a period of training at the Utatsuyama Craft Studio in Kanazawa, they returned to Kyoto, continuing to create works while contributing to the development of traditional techniques.

While deeply rooted in traditional methods, the artist places a strong emphasis on integrating modern technologies to create contemporary expressions. Their works aim to convey the timeless allure of metal crafts, blending heritage with innovation.
