1985年兵庫生まれ。

2012年に京都造形芸術大学大学院修士課程芸術研究科芸術表現専攻修了

時代と共に本質が宙吊りになったゴジラ＝敗戦国日本人の器として捉え、洛中洛外図や一円相などの技法とミックスして現代水墨画を描く。また、京都銭湯芸術祭や西垣運送を経営するなど、領域を横断しながら表現の可能性を探る。2015年より京都・伏見区にある「STUDIOHAIDENBAN」を拠点として活動する。

主な個展に、「A Monster of Our Own Making」Ronin Gallery/ニューヨーク、「酔顔見合わせて、ええじゃないか」下鴨茶寮/京都。

主なレジデンスに、RONIN GLOBUS ONBEAT アーティスト・イン・レジデンス・プログラム/ニューヨーク、QATAR MUSEUMS/ドーハなど。

Born in Hyogo, Japan in 1985.

Graduated from Kyoto University of Art and Design in 2012 with a Master’s degree in Art Expression, Graduate School of Art and Design.

He sees Godzilla = a vessel for defeated Japanese whose essence has been suspended with the times, and mixes it with techniques such as Rakuchu Rakugai Zu and Ichien Sang to create contemporary Suiboku-ga (ink painting). He also explores the possibilities of expression while crossing realms, such as running the Kyoto Sento Art Festival and Nishigaki Transport, etc. Since 2015, he has been based at “”STUDIOHAIDENBAN”” in Fushimi-ku, Kyoto.

Major solo exhibitions include “”A Monster of Our Own Making,”” Ronin Gallery, New York, and “”Drunken Face to Face, Ee-jana-nai,”” Shimogamo Saryo, Kyoto.

Major residencies include RONIN GLOBUS ONBEAT Artist in Residence Program/New York and QATAR MUSEUMS/Doha.
