現在、東京を拠点に制作活動中。

習合とは様々な宗教の神々や教義などの一部が混同ないしは同一視される現象のことである。 日本では1400年程前、神仏習合という大きな習合を経て現代までそれを受け継いでいる。排除して整理するのではなく、曖昧な状態を受け入れて成立させる独特な感覚は、現代において最も大切なことを示しているのではないだろうか。彼は母国である日本という国の特異なありさまを作品を通して表現する。

Shugyo refers to a phenomenon in which the deities and doctrines of various religions are confused or identified with one another.

In Japan, the Shinto and Buddhist traditions were combined about 1,400 years ago, and have continued to be combined until the present day. The unique sense of accepting and establishing an ambiguous state, rather than eliminating and organizing it, is perhaps the most important thing in the modern world. He expresses the peculiar state of his native country, Japan, through his works.

He accepts ambiguous things as they are, without clarifying them.
He also enjoys the beauty of change.
He expresses the unique Japanese sense of beauty in his works.
