2002年大阪生まれ。現在は京都芸術大学大学院修士課程芸術専攻版画分野に在籍中。
「生物と人類の共生」をテーマに水性木版の技法を用いて制作を行なっている。私は生物を人間の価値基準によってペットや害獣、保護対象など位置づけられている現代社会に疑問を持った。そこで生物を擬人化し人間社会の中で人と同じように生活する姿を描くことで、人間と生物との境界を揺さぶり人間中心の価値観を問い直している。

現代社会では、生物はペットや害獣、保護対象など、人間の価値基準によって分類されている。しかしこうした区分は生物そのものの本質ではなく、人間が社会的・文化的な価値観に基づいて与えた意味づけにすぎない。人間もまた数ある生物の一種であるという視点から、人間と他の生物との関係を捉え直すことを制作の出発点としている。
作品では生物を擬人化し人間社会の中で人と共に生きる世界を描いている。それぞれの生物が置かれた立場を描くことで、人間との関係性を多角的に見つめ直すことを試みている。
モノクロームの表現により、生物種の違いよりもそれぞれの立場や関係性へと鑑賞者の意識を向けている。また、版を彫り、摺りを重ねる身体的な制作行為は、他者との距離や存在について思索を深める時間でもある。版画のもつ複数性を生かし、共生という問いをより多くの人々と共有することで、多様な存在が共に生きる社会について考える契機を生み出す。
生物を擬人化した版画表現を通して、人間と生物との境界を揺さぶり、「人間とは何か」という根源的な問いを提示することで、多様な生物と同じ世界を生きる私たち自身の在り方を見つめ直す契機となることを目指している。

Boron in 2002 in Osaka. Currently enrolled in the Master’s Program in Printmaking at Kyoto University of the Arts Graduate School.
My work explores the theme of coexistence between humanity and other living beings through the medium of water-based woodblock printing.This body of work began with my question about the way modern society categorizes living beings according to human-centered values—as pets, pests, or species in need of protection. By anthropomorphizing these beings and depicting them living alongside humans in human society, I challenge the boundary between humans and other living beings and reexamine anthropocentric values.

Using the theme of “Symbiosis Between Living Organisms and Humans,” I create works using water-based woodblock printing techniques.
In modern society, living organisms are classified according to human standards—as pets, pests, or species in need of protection. However, these classifications do not reflect the true nature of the organisms themselves; they are merely meanings assigned by humans based on social and cultural values. My work begins with the premise of reexamining the relationship between humans and other living organisms from the perspective that humans are simply one species among many.
In my works, I anthropomorphize living beings to depict a world where they coexist with humans within human society. By portraying the circumstances of each living being, I attempt to reexamine their relationships with humans from multiple perspectives.
Through monochromatic expression, I direct the viewer’s attention toward the individual circumstances and relationships of these beings rather than their species differences. Furthermore, the physical act of carving the block and applying multiple layers of ink is also a time for deep reflection on the distance between oneself and others, as well as on the nature of existence. By leveraging the multiplicity inherent in printmaking and sharing the question of symbiosis with a wider audience, the artist creates an opportunity to reflect on a society where diverse beings coexist.
Through printmaking that anthropomorphizes living creatures, the artist aims to challenge the boundaries between humans and other living beings and pose the fundamental question, “What is a human?” This serves as an opportunity for us—who share this world with diverse living creatures—to reexamine our own way of being.
