日本の暦や年中行事、風習、信仰など、暮らしの中に息づく民衆文化をテーマに作品を制作する。

制作において重視されるのは、過去の風俗や意匠をそのまま再現することではない。名もなき人々が繰り返してきた祈りや祭り、遊びといった日々の営みの奥にある感覚を拾い上げ、現代の視点からいまを生きる私たちへと引き寄せる試みである。
先人たちが築いた文化の層を辿りながら、現代へと地続きに存在する「民（たみ）」の姿を描き出している。

Creates artwork centered on the daily life and culture of the Japanese people, focusing on themes such as traditional calendar events, seasonal customs, folk practices, and beliefs.

In creating these works, the focus is not merely on reproducing the customs and designs of the past. Rather, it is an attempt to capture the underlying sensations of daily life—the prayers, festivals, and play repeated by nameless generations—and bring them closer to us today through a contemporary lens.
