京都造形芸術大学アートプロデュース学科卒
2009年頃からインターネット上で作品の発表を始め、ボーカロイド楽曲等のイラストレーションを手掛ける。
2014年から展示活動を開始。国内外にて、個展・グループ展・アートフェア等に出展。

「いつかあったような日常」をベースに、幼い頃に親しんだ少女漫画のような大きな瞳の少女や、ファンシー雑貨のような色彩を用いて表現しています。また、絵自体が子どものおもちゃやノートに描いたお絵かきのようであることを大事にしています。いつか汚れたり壊れてしまいそうなものに美を感じます。

思春期のころから、現実よりもインターネットでの人との繋がりが深かった自分にとって、SNSは切り離せない存在です。楽しいこともあれば、見知らぬ人々の喧嘩や暴言が目の前に流れ着いて、過剰に心を乱してきます。そのような日常生活で生じる心のゆらぎを捉え、善悪・明暗などで分けることのできない複雑な現代社会や人間関係を描こうとしています。

なぜそういったものに心が惹かれるのかと考えると、自身がインターネットに出会う前、現実を一所懸命に生きていた時に身近にあったものが、SNSや日常生活で浮遊しつづける自分の心を留めてくれるような気がするからかもしれません。

My work is grounded in a sense of “everyday life that feels vaguely familiar, as if it once existed somewhere.” I express this through motifs such as girls with large, shining eyes inspired by the shōjo manga I loved as a child, along with colors reminiscent of cute, decorative goods. I also place importance on giving my paintings the quality of children’s drawings—like doodles made in notebooks or on toys. I’m drawn to a kind of beauty in things that feel fragile, as if they might one day become stained or broken.

Since my teenage years, I’ve often felt more connected to people online than in the physical world, so social media has become an inseparable part of my life. While it can be joyful, it also brings me into contact with conflicts and harsh words between strangers that suddenly appear in my feed, sometimes disturbing me more than I expect. I try to capture these subtle emotional fluctuations that arise in everyday life, and to depict the complexity of contemporary society and human relationships—things that can’t be easily divided into simple binaries like good and evil or light and dark.

When I think about why I’m drawn to these themes, I feel that the things that were close to me before I encountered the internet—when I was fully engaged in living in the real world—may help anchor my drifting mind within the constant flow of social media and daily life.
