現在　 大阪で制作

土や釉薬、ガラスを混ぜ合わせた塊を焼成し、作品を制作しています。
土や釉薬といった「やきもの」の素材は、成形・乾燥・焼成という工程を経る中で、その姿を大きく変えていきます。
その変化の過程で生まれるヒビやゆがみ、素材が混ざり合って現れる表情に強く惹かれています。自然の現象が介入して生まれる造形は、簡単に私の想像を超えていきます。
思い通りにならない素材と向き合いながら、まだ見ぬ結果への期待を胸に制作を続けています。

Currently: Creating art in Osaka

I create my works by firing a mixture of clay, glaze, and glass.
The materials used in pottery—such as clay and glaze—undergo significant transformations as they pass through the processes of shaping, drying, and firing.
I am deeply drawn to the cracks and distortions that arise during this process of change, as well as the unique textures that emerge when the materials blend together. The forms created by the intervention of natural phenomena often far exceed my imagination.
While engaging with materials that do not always behave as I expect, I continue to create, filled with anticipation for outcomes I have yet to see.
