Production Concept:

I create paintings themed around the video games I cherished during my boyhood. I am deeply interested in the relationship between the unchanging medium of painting and the viewers who change over time. From this relationship, I explore the process of ensuring value through constancy on one hand, and creating new value through change on the other. My work seeks to navigate the dialogue between these two values through the lens of game culture, which is evolving into a semi-fictional world.
