企画概要

「Think Different」はステーブ・ジョブス が新しいマーケティング理論として、最初はIBMに対抗して出した言葉だった。
それがあっという間にアップル大躍進により哲学になり、コロナという人類最大の困難に向かっている今、未来ビジョンとして的確な言葉に変革した。
カウンターカルチャーのムーブメントでパーソナルコンピューターが生まれる前と後の間に、若者たちは大きな文化的変速機を操作してテクノロジーとアートの融合するスピードとトルクを上げた。
今回の写真展覧会では、”ステーブ・ジョブス＋”として、共に革命を起こしたその時代のレジェンド達の表情豊かなポートレイト写真を「The Thinkers」として展示した。そのディファレンスを効かせるという意味で、このWHAT CAFEの空間芸術を実感してほしい。

Event Summary

““Think Different”” was a term first coined by Steve Jobs as a new marketing theory to compete against IBM.
It quickly became a philosophy due to Apple’s great leap forward, and now that we are facing the greatest challenge of humanity with Covid-19, it has transformed into a precise phrase as a future vision.
In the counterculture movement between before and after the birth of personal computers, young people manipulated a large cultural gearbox to increase the speed and torque of the fusion of technology and art.
In this photo exhibition “”Steve Jobs +,”” we displayed a collection of expressive portrait photographs of the legends of that generation, “”The Thinkers”” who likewise started a revolution. We hope you can feel the spatial art of WHAT CAFE in terms of making that difference work.”
