WHAT CAFEでは、2026年8月5日（水）から8月23日（日）まで、「WHAT CAFE Selection vol. 8:Hobby」を開催いたします。  

WHAT CAFEがセレクトした7人のアーティストの作品をご紹介。
陶芸技法と都市カルチャーを融合させる立体作品から、身近なモチーフを独自の解釈で捉え直した日本画アプローチ、建築や記憶を慈しむようなグラフィックや繊細な水彩表現。さらにはサイケデリックな切り絵や、視覚体験の曖昧さを揺さぶる絵画まで、手法も背景も異なる作家たちの個性が高らかに響き合います。
「好きなこと」「没頭すること」——それぞれの作家が追求する「Hobby」の深度が刻まれた作品群の中から、あなたの心に深く引き寄せられる特別な作品との出会いをお楽しみください。

Event Summary

WHAT CAFE is pleased to present “WHAT CAFE Selection vol. 8: Hobby,” on view from Wednesday, August 5, 2026, through Sunday, August 23, 2026.
  

Discover works by seven artists selected by WHAT CAFE.
From sculptural works that fuse ceramic techniques with urban culture, to Japanese painting-inspired approaches that reinterpret familiar motifs through a unique perspective; from graphic works and delicate watercolors that lovingly reflect on architecture and memory, to psychedelic paper-cut art and paintings that challenge the ambiguity of visual perception, each artist brings a distinctive voice through diverse mediums and backgrounds.
Centered around the theme of **”Hobby,”** these works embody the depth of each artist’s passion and dedication to what they love. We invite you to explore the collection and discover a work that resonates deeply with you.
