2000年東京都出身。共存を指針として、現代家族の内実を油彩で描く。 現代の家族の、不和や離婚の増加、虐待や暴力、性差別、ネグレクト、高齢化など様々なファミリートラブルからみえてくる、母親・父親・子ども・兄弟、それぞれの正と悪、傷心連鎖、罪の意識。核家族化した現代で私たち人間は自他の痛みをどう捉えるか問いかける。
動物と人間におけるファミリートラブルの共通点（離婚・死別・再婚・連れ子）を見出し、それらを擬人的視点で表現している。
地球上のすべての生物は、すべての生物の活動によって生かされている。
他者の感情を想像し、他者を知ることをやめてはならないと訴えかける。
それは強さが弱さを操り排除する世界での共存に不可欠なものだ。

Kaoru Yoshioka is from Tokyo. With coexistence as a guideline, he depicts the inner workings of modern families in oil. Right and wrong, heartbreak, and guilt that emerge from the various family troubles of modern families. In today’s world of nuclear families, we ask ourselves how we perceive the pain of ourselves and others. He discovers commonalities between family troubles between animals and humans (divorce, bereavement, remarriage, stepchildren), and creates works from an anthropomorphic perspective. All living things on earth are kept alive by the activities of all living things. He emphasizes that imagining the emotions of others and knowing them is essential for coexistence.
